A security company that builds an unusable website has misunderstood its own business. We aim for WCAG 2.1 Level AA, and we would rather tell you honestly what is not there yet than post a badge and hope.

What is implemented

  • Semantic HTML structure with a single H1 per page and a logical heading order that does not skip levels.
  • A skip-to-content link as the first focusable element on every page.
  • Visible focus indicators on every interactive element, never removed for aesthetics.
  • Full keyboard operability: the mega menu, the mobile navigation, the multi-step quote form and the table of contents all work without a mouse, and Escape closes every overlay.
  • Form inputs with persistent visible labels — not placeholder-only fields — plus programmatic error association and aria-invalid states.
  • Color contrast meeting or exceeding 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and interface components.
  • Meaningful alternative text on every image, including the art-direction placeholders, which carry the alt text the final photograph will use.
  • Reduced-motion support: every animation on this site, including the mobile menu, is suppressed when your operating system requests it.
  • Data tables with real table markup, scoped headers and captions, so a screen reader can navigate them by row and column.
  • Touch targets sized for thumbs, and a mobile menu designed so nothing important moves under a finger mid-animation.

What we know is imperfect

The wide comparison tables scroll horizontally on small screens. That is the correct behavior — collapsing them destroys the comparison — but horizontal scrolling is a genuine friction point for some users, and we are looking at a stacked card presentation for narrow viewports.

Some third-party content, if we ever embed it, may not meet the same standard as the pages we build ourselves. Where that happens we will say so rather than quietly absorb it into a general claim of compliance.

Everything available on this website is available over the phone from a person in San Antonio, including the full survey request and the rate-beat comparison. Nobody should have to fight a form to get a security system.
