The doorbell camera is your most-used security device. Install it like it matters.

A doorbell mounted at standard height on a narrow porch column sees a chest and a chin. We use wedge and angle mounts to correct the field of view so it captures a face on approach and, just as importantly, captures the porch floor where packages land. If your front door sits back under a deep overhang — common on Spanish Colonial and ranch homes across the older parts of town — the default aim is almost always wrong.

We also make the indoor chime work. Not a phone notification you will miss because you left the ringer on silent. An actual chime, plus optional announcement through the alarm panel, so somebody standing at your door registers in the physical world.

A doorbell that lives in its own app, with its own login, next to the four other security apps on your phone, is a small daily tax on your attention. We integrate the doorbell into the same platform as your alarm and cameras, so one app shows you the front door, the driveway, the back patio and whether the system is armed.
