Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of this website. They are not your monitoring agreement — that is a separate document you would sign, and it controls the actual service.

Who we are

This website is operated by San Antonio Protection Services, a security systems installation and alarm monitoring company licensed by the Texas Department of Public Safety Private Security Bureau under license number B16898. References to “we,” “us” and “our” mean that company.

Quotes and pricing information

Prices shown on this site are starting points and are provided for general information. Monitoring rates are current as of the date of publication. Actual equipment and installation pricing depends on the specific property and is provided in a written quote following an on-site survey. A quote becomes binding on us when we deliver it in writing; nothing on this website is itself an offer capable of acceptance.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors on this site and in any quote containing an obvious clerical mistake, and to decline any job for reasons including but not limited to safety, code compliance, or an inability to service the location.

The rate-beat guarantee

We will beat a competitor's written quote on comparable scope. The terms of that guarantee, stated in full so nobody has to guess:

  • The competing quote must be a written document from a provider licensed in Texas, dated within the last 90 days, naming the customer and the service address.
  • It must specify a monthly monitoring amount, an equipment list and a term length.
  • Comparable scope means the same protected openings, the same monitored life-safety devices (smoke, heat, carbon monoxide), and an equivalent signaling path. We will identify any differences in writing rather than silently matching a lesser system.
  • The guarantee applies to monitoring rate and total installed cost. It does not obligate us to match promotional financing structures, leased-equipment arrangements or third-party rebates.
  • One quote per property. We reserve the right to decline where the competing quote appears to be below the cost of lawful, licensed work.

Monitoring service, separately

Monitoring is provided under a separate written service agreement. Our standard agreement runs twelve months and renews year to year, with equipment owned outright by the customer. In every case, the signed service agreement controls, and nothing on this website modifies it.

Alarm monitoring is a notification service. It does not prevent crime, fire, flooding or injury, and no security system guarantees safety. Response times depend on carriers, networks and third-party emergency agencies over which we have no control. Our liability is governed by the limitations set out in the signed service agreement, which we encourage every customer to read in full before signing — the same advice we give about everybody else's.

Use of this website

You may use this site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to attempt to interfere with its operation, probe or scan it for vulnerabilities, submit automated or fraudulent form entries, or use any content here to train a commercial model without permission. The text, layout, editorial content and brand marks on this site are our property and are protected by copyright and trademark law.

Comparative information about other companies is compiled from publicly available marketing materials and from written quotes customers have shown us. It is offered as general guidance, may become outdated, and is not a representation about any specific offer a third party will make to you. Verify current terms directly with any provider you are considering, including us.

Disclaimers and governing law

This website and its content are provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by Texas law. Editorial content, including everything published in Field Intelligence, is general information and not legal, insurance or engineering advice for your specific property.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Venue for any dispute lies in Bexar County, Texas. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in force.
